How it is checked

Before release the calculation engine is checked against an independent fibre-section model and recoded equations (240 checks), every button and option is tested automatically (106 tests), and the EN 1992 results are compared with a published external calculator.

The tools run entirely in your browser; inputs are not sent to us. They are provided free and without warranty, as an aid to design and checking. Results must be reviewed by a qualified engineer, who remains responsible for the design.
